Notification of Pending HPC Decisions#

The Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) makes recommendations to City Council regarding Landmark nominations, reviews exterior alterations to designated historic properties in certain cases under Chapter 14, Article IV of the City's Municipal Code, and reviews development proposals as described under Land Use Code Sec. 3.4.7. Below is a list of these items to be considered by the HPC. You can also look up current and past agendas and minutes for the HPC here.

Recent Evaluations of Landmark Eligibility#

Historic Preservation Services is constantly completing survey projects to identify properties that are eligible as City Landmarks, or as part of Landmark Districts. In most cases, larger survey project information will be available on the Historic Resources Map or on our Local History Projects page. Available here are recent Determinations of Eligibility made for Development Review applications subject to Land Use Code 3.4.7.

Notification of Approved Design Review Decisions#

Below is a searchable, downloadable table for all approved design review decisions made by the Historic Preservation Division (HPD) or the Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) under Chapter 14, Article IV of the City's Municipal Code. At the HPC's August 21, 2019 meeting, the HPC requested improvements to the notification process for staff decision's made without review by the HPC. The table below provides members of the public access to the recent decisions of both HPD staff and the HPC. 

Staff updates this table with new properties every Friday if projects have been reviewed/approved during the week.
