Posted on: Mar-09-2015

Fort Collins Utilities’ Education Team recently received a grant from AirWaterGas for U-Pod air quality monitors, developed by researchers at CU-Boulder. The monitors will be used to investigate the relationship between air quality and greenhouse gas emissions with middle and high school students in the Poudre School District.

Utilities’ Education Team works with community residents of all ages to better understand, enjoy and protect our local natural resources through interactive energy and water education.

The AirWaterGas Sustainability Research Network is a research, outreach and education project funded by the National Science Foundation to evaluate the environmental, economic and social trade-offs of developing oil and natural gas resources and protecting water and air resources.
