Fort Collins Utilities offers residential water customers up to a $50 toilet rebate for the purchase of high-efficiency toilets when the old one is recycled. Commercial customers can receive restroom rebates of up to $100 per unit.
A free recycling program for porcelain toilets and urinals is offered through a cooperative venture between the City of Fort Collins Utilities and Natural Resources and Streets department. The crushed porcelain from toilets is combined into an aggregate and used as road base.

Monday – Thursday 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Please call ahead as the Crushing Operation can close due to unforeseen circumstances.
Timberline Recycling Center
1903 S Timberline Rd.
Hard-to-Recycle Materials Yard ($5 facility use fee): Tuesday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Winter Hours (Nov. 1 - March 31): Tuesday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Important: All metal and plastic parts must be removed, otherwise the toilets will not be accepted.
Note: The Habitat for Humanity ReStore on South Taft Hill Road is no longer accepting toilets.
