Westbound Drake Road Closed at Dunbar Avenue, Starting March 11

Posted on: Mar-09-2023

Beginning Saturday, March 11, traffic access on westbound Drake Road will be closed at Dunbar Avenue for approximately one week, weather permitting. The closure will extend just east of Constitution Avenue and access to residences and businesses will remain open.

The Streets Department is coordinating with contractor Lightfield Enterprises, Inc. to complete necessary curb and gutter repair work following a recent water main break.

This is a collaborative infrastructure maintenance project with Utilities and Streets and will improve aesthetics and drainage in this section of Drake Road.

Typical working hours are 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., however work may occur outside these times or on the weekends in order to expedite the project and reduce impact as much as possible. Alternate routes are suggested and please be mindful of all posted safety signage.
