Posted on: Mar-15-2018

Fort Collins Utilities recently was awarded "Utility of the Year" by the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association (COSEIA). The award recognizes dynamic utilities for laying the foundation for transformational change in the energy supply of the community.

"This award demonstrates our commitment to achieving Fort Collins' Energy Policy and Climate Action Plan goals by offering customers a choice when it comes to renewable energy sources," said Energy Services Engineer Rhonda Gatzke.

Utilities provides options for on-site solar generation, community solar initiatives and an income-qualified solar program.

COSEIA's mission is to expand solar markets and to generate jobs and prosperity for the people of Colorado. Together, with hundreds of solar business members, COSEIA works to advance solar policy, remove market barriers, highlight emerging trends and promote solar outreach and education.
