Infrastructure Improvements Planned at Harmony Substation, Feb. 5-April 16

Posted on: Jan-31-2018

Beginning Feb. 5, Fort Collins Utilities will be adding new duct banks and three 8'x16' electrical vaults at the Harmony Substation, 1780 E. Harmony Road.

The improvements will provide additional electric capacity to the Harmony corridor in anticipation of future growth.

Work will continue through April 16. No road closures are planned, although a berm and trees will be removed from the work zone.

For safety during the tree removal process, the sidewalk on the north side of Harmony Road, from Innovation Drive to the railroad tracks, will be closed from Feb. 5-8. The sidewalk will remain open for the remainder of the project.
