Posted on: Sep-27-2016

In honor of the inaugural Energy Efficiency Day, Oct. 5, Fort Collins Utilities will join thousands of organizations, companies and individuals nationwide to recognize the vital contributions of energy-saving programs and policies.

During Energy Efficiency Day, Utilities will use social media to spotlight current City efficiency projects, while sharing social media posts about energy efficiency from partnering organizations around the country.

"Energy Efficiency Day is an exciting opportunity to showcase Utilities' programs and projects, as well as the people who help the City meet our ambitious energy goals," said John Phelan, Utilities' resource conservation manager. "We see this as an opportunity to join our partners around the country and share the stories of the tangible things being done every day to help our customer's save money by reducing energy use."
