Utility Poles on Woodward Site Relocating Along Lemay Avenue this Week

Construction will begin this week on the Platte River Power Authority transmission line, which currently runs diagonally across the Woodward property from northeast to southwest. The transmission line will be relocated along Lemay, extending across Mulberry Street and reconnecting to the current alignment south of the Poudre River.

Work is expected to occur Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to dark, through mid-April, weather permitting. Power is not anticipated to be affected while the work is occurring.

Truck routes for the utility pole construction are as follows: Riverside Avenue and Mulberry Street or west from I-25 to Link Lane, west on Lincoln Avenue and south on Lemay.
