ClimateWise Welcomes 12 New Business Partners

ClimateWise welcomed 12 new businesses to the program in the fourth quarter of 2012, including Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County; Capitol Roofing, Inc.; Career Solutions Group; Covell Care & Rehabilitation, LLC; Holmes Energy, LLC; Integrated Mechanical; Khumbu Adventure Gear; Mill Creek Enterprises; OptiEnz Sensors; Redeemer Lutheran Church; Sigma Phi Epsilon-Colorado Gamma and Walrus Ice Cream.

ClimateWise is a voluntary program sponsored by the City of Fort Collins and nearly 350 business partners participate through waste and transportation reductions and energy and water conservation.

Since 2000, ClimateWise business partners, which range from large to small organizations, have achieved a cumulative savings of nearly $59 million and diverted more than 254,000 tons of waste from the landfill by reducing, reusing and recycling.
