Biz Ed: A Free Series for Businesses Presents Advanced Topics in Waste Reduction, Sept. 19

Fort Collins Utilities and ClimateWise invite local business members to the next free Biz Ed program, Advanced Topics in Waste Reduction, Wed., Sept. 19, 7:30-9 a.m., Rocky Mountain Innosphere, 320 E. Vine Dr.

Take part in a progressive discussion about the broader universe of waste diversion. Learn how resource markets, policy and product producers play an integral role in what and how materials are diverted from the waste stream, recycled and put back into production. Understanding the role organizations play in these areas, will help inform employees about current processes and improvements that could be made.

Topics and a panel discussion will focus on:
• recycling policy and legislation
• recyclable materials markets
• product stewardship
