Midpoint Electric Distribution System Upgrade#
Utilities Light & Power is committed to providing highly reliable electric service to its customers, and the electric distribution system in the Midpoint Drive/Prospect Road area has been identified as a top priority for upgrades.
Although power outages are never completely preventable, the planned improvements are expected to significantly reduce the number of unexpected outages in the area.
Over the next several weeks, crews will be performing inspections and replacing old infrastructure. Planned outages will be required to complete these upgrades. We will make every effort to communicate outages in advance, minimize inconveniences by working at night or on weekends and keep the area safe.
