A Year of Positive Impact

Natural Areas has positively impacted the community through conservation, recreation, and outreach efforts. Kestrel Fields Natural Area opened. 309 acres of land was acquired for land conservation. The Flow Restoration Project at the Environmental Learning Center was completed. And more!

Zone Update Incorporates Your Feedback

Urban Zone natural areas provide a close to home connection with nature. Input from the community is helping to shape management direction of the ten natural areas in the Urban Zone. Community feedback, along with input from partnering departments and staff expertise, guided the development of over 70 management tactics to be implemented in the next seven years.
