About the Southeast Community Center#
In 2023, the City of Fort Collins and Poudre Libraries announced a joint commitment to open a new community center and library in southeast Fort Collins.
The community center, which was promised to voters in 2015 as part of the approved Community Capital Improvement Program(External link), will feature multi-use spaces for innovation, creativity, collaboration, recreation and youth-focused programs, a state-of-the-art public library, as well as aquatics facilities.
The center will be built on 10 acres of land that Poudre School District donated to the project, adjacent to Fossil Ridge High School and north of Twin Silo Community Park. The design and construction of the facility is a collaborative partnership between the City of Fort Collins and Poudre Libraries.
