Rent Our Spaces#

The City of Fort Collins Recreation Department offers more than just local fitness centers. Our venues are unique and accessible locations that can fit the needs and budget for your next special event. Whether you’re planning a wedding, birthday party, or neighborhood get-together, Recreation is available to make our next celebration memorable. Our facilities range in size to welcome small groups of guests for intimate gatherings and groups of more than 1,500 guests for larger events.

Rental FAQs#

Is there a deposit for events that is required?highlight_off

Yes, depending on your event, we require anywhere from a $50.00-$500.00, refundable deposit fee for all events. We do not hold dates without a deposit paid.  

Can we bring in our own alcohol?highlight_off

No, you must go through our bar service, Black Tie Events. Renters may not bring in their own alcohol. Bars are required to be booked at least 30 days in advance.

How can we find out the availability of a space?highlight_off

You can fill out our rental inquiry form online: Facility Rental Inquiry Form and our Rental Coordinator will be in touch with you regarding availability. Please allow at least two business days for a reply to your inquiry.  

How do I hold a room for an event?highlight_off

For events less than 30 days out, we require full payment. For events more than 30 days out, we require the damage deposit fee. All payments can be made over the phone by calling 970-224-6113, or in person at any open recreation facility.

Pool Birthday Party Reservation Information#

Pool Birthday Party Reservation Information

Birthday party reservations at Mulberry Pool are available:

  • Saturdays: 12:45-1:45, 2:15-3:15, and 3:45-4:45
  • Sundays: 12:15-1:15 and 1:45-2:45

Rental includes 15 minutes before and after for clean up. The party room includes a small climbing wall, tables, and chairs and can hold approximately 25 guests. There are no refrigerators or freezers on site.

Deep well will be closed the following Sundays in 2022:

  • May 15: noon – 3 p.m.

Mulberry Birthday Reservation FAQshighlight_off
  • One hour room rate of $60 includes 10 swim admissions 
    • Non-swimming guests do not need to pay swim admission. 
    • Additional swimmers (above the 10 included with the party) are paid for on the day of the event at the discounted group rate of 50 cents off normal admission.
  • Open swim time for parties
    • Saturdays: 12:30-5:30 p.m.
    • Sundays: 12-3 p.m. 
    • Depending on the party time you select, you are welcome to swim before and/or after your time in the party room as our open swim hours allow.
  • Additional Rules
    • Children under the age of 8 years need to be accompanied by adults in the water at a ratio of 1 adult for every 6 children. 
    • Accompanying adults must pay admission, wear a swimsuit, and be within arm's reach of the children in the water.
    • No confetti, pinatas, or alcohol are allowed in the party room.
City Park Pool Birthday Reservations FAQhighlight_off
  • Party times daily:
    • 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
    • 1:30-3:30 p.m.
    • 4-6 p.m. 
  • Two hour rental rate of $114 includes 10 admissions
    • Umbrella, North Patio and South Patio areas are available for rent
    • Rental space accommodates 15-20 people; both halves of patio can be reserved to accommodate 30-50 guests
    • Swimming is allowed before and/or after your rental; if facility hours allow
    • Additional guests (above the 10 included with the party) are paid for on the day of the event at the discounted group rate of 50 cents off normal admission; further discounts are available for large groups by purchasing a punch pass
  • Additional Rules
    • Children under the age of 8 years need to be accompanied by adults in the water at a ratio of 1 adult for every 6 children. 
    • Accompanying adults must pay admission, wear a swimsuit, and be within arm's reach of the children in the water.
    • Must be 48 inches tall and pass a swim test to use large slides.
    • No confetti, pinatas, or alcohol are allowed.

Everyone attending parties at City Park Pool must pay admission whether they are swimming or not.

City Park Pool Private Rental FAQhighlight_off
  • Party times daily, except Tuesday & Wednesday:
    • 6:15-8:15 p.m. 
  • Two hour rental rate of $600 includes 500 swim admissions
    • Lifeguards are included with your rental
  • Additional Rules
    • Children under the age of 8 years need to be accompanied by adults in the water at a ratio of 1 adult for every 6 children. 
    • Accompanying adults must pay admission, wear a swimsuit, and be within arm's reach of the children in the water.
    • Must be 48 inches tall and pass a swim test to use large slides.
    • No confetti, pinatas, or alcohol are allowed.

Bar Service#

Bar Service

City of Fort Collins Recreation works with our contracted provider, Black Tie Events, LLC., to provide bar services at events. Black Tie Events is a licensed, bonded, and insured event specialist. Black Tie Events is the only vendor permitted to serve alcohol at events hosted at Recreation facilities. If you would like bar services as part of your event, please contact Black Tie Events to arrange for services.
