Camp FunQuest Opening June 1
While the format will look a little different this year, Recreation is excitedly preparing for Camp FunQuest programs to open on June 1.
The health and safety of our participants and staff is our top priority, and we have been working diligently with state childcare licensing and public health partners to modify the structure, schedules, and procedures of Camp FunQuest programs related to COVID-19.
From June 1 – July 17, all Camp FunQuest programs will be held at Riffenburgh Elementary School, located at 1320 E. Stuart St., Fort Collins, 80525. Camp programs will run from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with all activities taking place on-site at Riffenburgh, or in nearby Edora Park. Until restrictions are lifted, there will be no transportation or off-site field trips.

Week 1 | June 1-5 | Game On
Play human versions of Mario Kart, Hungry Hippos, and Foosball. Learn new games for distancing.
Week 2 | June 8-12 | Face Your Fear Camp
Eat bugs, touch brains, and compete in unusual challenges for individuals and teams.
Week 3 | June 15-19 | STEM / Inventor's Workshop
Use recycled materials to get messy designing an egg-drop vessel and building catapults.
Week 4 | June 22-26 | Wizards Camp
Participate in Harry Potter inspired activities. Play quidditch, take magical classes and cast spells.
Week 5 | June 29-July 3 | Time Travelers
Learn games and crafts from previous decades and design your own for the future.
Week 6 | July 6-10 | CSI Secret Agents
Put your detective skills to the test. Break codes, create gadgets, and strategize for capture the flag.
Week 7 | July 13-17 | Sports Week
Come ready to play! Traditional sports and recreational games will be featured.
Week 8 | July 20-24 | Space Cadet Camp
In a camp week not so far away, space cadet training will begin. Participate in out of this world activities.
Week 9 | July 27-31 | Got Talent
Karaoke, lip sync battles, and theatrical play with an end-of-week talent show (encouraged, but optional).
Week 10 | August 3-7 | Water Week
Get wet with a variety of water games and cool off from the heat. Bring swimsuits every day this week.
Week 11 | August 10-14 | All Camp Olympics
Prepare for fun challenges, both physical and mental. End the week with an Olympic-style competition.
Alternate activities may be substituted as needed to adhere to current state and local health orders for group size and physical distancing guidelines.
For 2020, all registration forms will be processed electronically. Currently registered participants will receive forms via email.
