Day Camps

While out of school, keep busy making new friends and going on fun adventures. We host programs for all types of campers. When registering, be sure to note any allergies. Please pack a water bottle, sack lunch, and sunscreen, and dress appropriately for the weather and activities.

To register for the programs below, visit our online database and search for the class to register. You can also call 970-221-6655 to register over the phone. Additional programs can be found in the Recreator.

Camp FunQuest

Camp FunQuest
 

Camp FunQuest is the new way to do Summer Camp. Kids will make the most of summer by discovering new adventures, making new friends, splashing in the pool, hiking, playing games, and learning new skills. Campers will be join in the fun of their own age group listed below. Are they a Marmot, just poking their head into the camper lifestyle? Or, are they a veteran Black Bear leading the pack on summer adventures? 

Camper Groups
Marmots  l  Ages 3-5 years  l  8 a.m.-noon
Red Foxes  l  Ages 6-8 years  l  8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Big Horns  l  Ages 9-11 years  l  8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Black Bears  l  Ages 12-15 years  l  8 a.m.-5 p.m.

All campers will begin the day at Northside Aztlan Community Center, unless otherwise noted. Camps start 6/4 and run weekly throughout the summer with the final camp held on 8/13.

Summer Bike Camp I

Dates: Monday-Friday, Variety of dates available  l  8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Location: Spring Canyon Park or Northside Aztlan Community Center
Age: 6-8 years
Cost: $145

Learn basic bike riding rules for safety, skills, hydration, and bike maintenance from Safe Routes to School instructor.

Survival in the Woods Camp I

Dates: Monday-Friday, Variety of dates available  l  9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Location: Northside Aztlan Community Center
Age: 8-11 years
Cost: $161

Learn strategies like shelter building, water safety, edible forest foods, camping skills, and more in order to survive in the woods.
