On March 2, 2021 at approximately 4:37 pm, Fort Collins Police received a report of a panic alarm at the Wells Fargo Bank located at 320 E. Harmony Rd. Shortly thereafter, it was reported that a male suspect had entered the bank, approached one of the tellers, and demanded money. The suspect indicated that he was armed; however, no weapon was displayed. He fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect was described as an athletic adult male, about 5'5-5'6 tall with a slender build. A photo is attached. No bank employees or customers were hurt during this incident. Fort Collins Police detectives responded and are investigating the incident in partnership with the FBI.

“Bank robberies are a particularly brazen and dangerous crime,” said Criminal Investigations Unit Lieutenant Jerrod Kinsman. “Incidents like these can have lasting impacts for victims and witnesses alike.”

Anyone with information, including people who were in the surrounding Harmony/College area shopping center parking lot and might have seen the suspect, may call Detective Bryan Vogel at 970-416-2392.
