Police investigate collision at Remington and Mulberry
On December 4, 2020 just before 3:00 p.m., a Fort Collins Police officer was responding to a report of a robbery. The officer was driving a 2017 Ford Explorer police vehicle with lights and sirens activated and was traveling west on Mulberry Street when a collision occurred with a 2004 Subaru station wagon traveling north on Remington Street.
Both the officer and the adult male driver of the Subaru went to an area hospital to be evaluated for injuries. There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The intersection was closed for approximately 5 hours while the CRASH (Collision Reconstruction and Scene Handling) team processed the scene. Police are investigating multiple factors to determine what contributed to the collision.
