District One: Old Town Police Center
The District One police community center serves the northeast section of Fort Collins and is located at 144 N. Mason Street, Suite 1 (southwest end of the Laporte parking structure) across from the Larimer County Justice Center. The District office helps establish a visible law enforcement presence in the Old Town area.
The District One's team goals is to create community partnerships that reduce crime and disorder by carefully examining the characteristics of the neighborhood and then applying appropriate problem-solving remedies. Officers help community members mobilize support and resources to solve problems and enhance their quality of life. The station is staffed by volunteers who have been taught how to make police reports, disseminate resource information and network with people from public agencies who provide a variety of services to the community.
The Old Town Police Center also houses a historic police museum and offers a community meeting room for public use. The public is welcome to visit the Police Center during business hours.
