Planning and Development
The landscape of Colorado's "Choice City" is changing rapidly, and the Park Planning & Development Division is making sure the community's parks and bike trails keep pace. You can count on Park Planning & Development for:
Quality: Parks and trails bring you closer to the beauty that inspired you to call Fort Collins your home. We work hard to provide enjoyable parks and trails for the citizens of Fort Collins. Let us know your thoughts so we can continue to improve our parks and trails.
Stewardship: Park Planning & Development is responsible for the long-range acquisition and development of specific parks and land areas. We oversee park construction and review developments within residential and commercial areas. Come see what's in store for the future with a copy of the "Park Master Plan."
Responsiveness: What can WE do for YOU? Citizen involvement is paramount in assisting staff in planning the future development of Fort Collins' parks. The Southwest Dog Park, Edora Skate Park and Poudre River Boat Chute were all in response to community input. We're here for you!
