Transfort Plans Surprise Customer Appreciation Bus-Stop Events

In an effort to say thank you to passengers, Transfort plans to surprise its customers with free breakfast, snacks and coffee this spring.
The City of Fort Collins’ public transit department, Transfort, is hosting a series of “pop-up” customer appreciation events beginning the week of April 20 and running through the end of June. Transfort’s Travel Training Coordinator and customer service representatives plan to set up small stations at various bus stops and transit centers around town that will include free snacks, beverages and promotional items for passengers. The series includes 10 promotional events, each lasting one to two hours.

“We wanted to recognize the wonderful riders that use our system and show our appreciation for supporting Transfort,” said Timothy Wilder, Transfort Service Development Manager. Transfort has seen an 84 percent increase in passengers between 2004 and 2014. With more than 9,600 passengers per workday, and an average of 25.3 passengers per hour, Transfort continues to grow and adapt for our changing community. “We appreciate all of our Transfort customers and simply want to say thank you,” said Travel Training Coordinator, Andrea Liebl.
