Remaining Mason Street asphalt and concrete work to resume May 13, 2024

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The City of Fort Collins Streets Department will conduct remaining asphalt and concrete work on Mason Street starting May 13, 2024, weather permitting. The work duration is expected to be 2.5 weeks, with completion in the week of May 20, 2024.

Work will include smaller scale back-of-curb, minor landscape repairs and backfill, and will occur along Mason Street from Mountain Avenue to Laporte Avenue, and Laporte Avenue to Maple Street.

Additional paving work will be done at the intersection of Mulberry Street and Mason Street during the evening hours of Sunday, June 2 and Monday, June 3.

This phase will conclude the 2023-24 major streets maintenance and improvements on Mason Street.

Work Zone Information

Typical working hours are weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., however work may occur outside these times. Weekend work may be required to expedite the project. Alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zones.

Drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists should use caution in the work zone.
