Mason Street project begins Sept. 11; Street closures to be in effect

The City of Fort Collins Streets Department will continue road work on Mason Street beginning Monday, Sept. 11.
Work will take place in both directions of Mason between Maple Street and University Avenue. Block-by-block closures of Mason will be in effect and detours will be posted.
This final phase of the project is expected to take three months, weather permitting.
Transfort services along the route, including MAX and FLEX, will be rerouted off Mason Street. For more information, visit www.ridetransfort.com.
Drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists should use caution in the work zone.
This work follows improvements this summer to the Oak Street parking area and concrete curb, gutter, and sidewalk repairs along Mason. For more information, visit www.fcgov.com/mason2023.
Work Zone Information
Typical working hours are weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., however work may occur outside these times. Weekend work may be required to expedite the project. Alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zones.
