Nextdoor
Nextdoor is a private social network for your neighborhood, empowering you and your neighbors to connect and build a stronger and safer community.With Nextdoor you can:
- Get to know your neighbors.
- Get local recommendations for a great babysitter, plumber, or handyman.
- Look out for each other by sharing advice and reporting lost pets.
- Buy, sell, trade, or give away items within your neighborhood.
- Get updates on community issues, plan neighborhood events, and more!
The City of Fort Collins is also able to post information to those who have signed up (though we cannot read your neighborhood's individual posts). Examples of information posted by the City might include information from police if there have been car break-ins in a neighborhood, upcoming events that might impact traffic in your area, etc.
Learn more and sign up at www.nextdoor.com or click on the Nextdoor emblem at the bottom of this webpage. Follow the link and it will provide directions. Please note that this application recognizes larger neighborhood areas in Fort Collins rather than specific homeowner's associations. Nextdoor will also verify your address through one of several methods, and you will have to choose one to join. This is an attempt to keep people who do not live in your neighborhood from being able to participate.
