A1 Organics collects food waste, yard waste, green waste and wood waste. Materials are accepted at their facility in Eaton, which also sells compost.

The Hard to Recycle Materials Yard is co-located at the Timberline Recycling Drop-Off Center.

There is a $5 facility use fee for the Yard, and additional fees apply for some recyclables (See website for more details). When only dropping off paint or cardboard, no entry fee is required.  Oil-based, enamel, & Latex paints (interior/exterior) are accepted, as are various other coverings (deck coating, varnish, floor paint, primer, sealer, & stains).

• Antifreeze (30 gallon limit per visit)
• Used Motor Oil(30 gallon limit per visit)
• Batteries (Lithium ion batteries temporarily not accepted; commercially generated batteries are not accepted)
• Cooking Oil: (25 gallon limit per visit)
• Scrap Metal: Includes non-refrigeration types of appliances
• Aggregates: Concrete (no rebar); broken ceramic dishes; toilets and porcelain sinks (without cast iron layer). Must remove all hardware and seats
• Baling Twine

The Loveland Recycling Center accepts a wide variety of materials, including #1-#7 plastic tubs, waste cooking oil, scrap metals, and other hard to recycle items including hard backed books. Fort Collins residents should expect to pay a fee to drop off yard and wood waste. Electronics (TVs, computers, monitors, etc.) require a small fee. Batteries are free.

Loveland residents must present a current yard debris permit to drop off yard/wood debris.  To obtain a permit, call the Solid Waste Division at 970-962-2529 or stop by the office at 105 W. Fifth St.

Offers residential and commercial food scrap collection for a fee. 

Suppliers of natural organic landscape products. Accepts leaves, grass, garden waste, and branches (up to 6 inches in diameter). Please separate branches and leaves from grass and garden waste. Drop off fee.

Accepts clean construction wood waste (clean lumber, scrap wood, and pallets, no treated wood). No cement, sheetrock, carpet remnants. Also accepts yard wastes including leaves, grass clippings, tree branches (less than 24" in diameter), sod and soil, rock and gravel. Wood wastes may contain nails, but no metal or trash. Tree stumps not accepted.

What is green waste? The following items will be accepted as green waste for $5.50/ cubic yard

Clean lumber and pallets

Green waste

• Tree branches
• Tree limbs and trimmings
• Brush

Logs

• Tree trunks – cut to 6 feet in length and 2 feet in diameter or smaller

Yard Waste

• Grass and leaves
• Garden waste or plant clippings

GSI offers an array of products and services including: trash bags and carts, dumpsters and roll-offs for a variety of materials including, single-stream, cardboard, appliances, electronics, yard waste, food waste recycling and more. Also available are portable toilets and hand washing stations
