Overview#

A number of projects are scheduled on the Mulberry Street corridor in 2022. These projects include:

• Utilities: A sewer replacement project on and near Mulberry Street near City Park (Project website)
• Streets Department: Concrete repairs and paving in the area of City Park
• CDOT:  Work on traffic signals from Riverside Drive to I-25.

Managers for each project have been coordinating across City departments to reduce traffic impacts as much as possible.

What can I expect?#

Traffic on Mulberry Street near City Park (Shields Street to Taft Hill Road) will be particularly affected due to Utilities and Streets projects from March 2022 through the summer.

Residents in the area and visitors to City Park will notice heavy equipment in the area throughout the project.

As with all construction projects, weather may affect construction schedules. Drivers should plan to use alternate routes if possible, like College Avenue and Timberline Road. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained at all times.
