Mulberry Bridge Urban Design & Landscaping Project

Mulberry Bridge

Project Goals

The Mulberry Bridge Urban Design and Landscaping Project completed the landscaping and urban design vision associated with the recently constructed roadway and bridge improvements along Mulberry Street between Lemay Avenue and Riverside Avenue. Improvements were coordinated with recently constructed improvements on Lemay Avenue north of Mulberry Street, along the Poudre Trail, and developments within the project's general vicinity.

Proposed Improvements

Landscaping and irrigation improvements were installed along the parkways and within the medians. Urban design features were also installed, complementing the recently constructed bridge spanning the Poudre River. The project also included a public art project planned for the northeast corner of the bridge and completed two overlook areas located on the east side of the bridge.

Funding

Enhancements were funded by Keeping Fort Colling Great Funds.

Schedule

Improvements have been completed. Similar to Old Town, flowers will be planted in the bridge median and on the bridge overlook areas.
