RMII Applications Surge, Welcomes Five New Companies
September and October have been very good months for RMII. The incubator received more than 20 applications from prospective innovative technology start-ups, and accepted five new companies. RMII also won support from Fort Collins City Council for partial financing support for their new building, and received a three-year grant from the Colorado Economic Development Commission worth $150,000 for staffing assistance.
- New companies are: Eckstein Diagnostics, GenGreen, MetLogic, Physical Activity Innovations and Zero Hero Events.
- New building will be three stories, 32,000 sq.ft of office space, with 3,000 sq.ft of wet lab space. Clients will have access to shared administrative support and a central conference room. The project is approved for $2.8 million in tax increment financing from the Citys Urban Renewal Authority.
- Groundbreaking of the new site will occur in February, with completion later in 2010.
