Memorial Day Events
Memorial Day Programs will occur throughout Fort Collins' park system on Monday, May 26. See below for specific locations and times:
- Edora Park Veterans' Memorial - 8:45 a.m.
- Grandview Cemetery - 10:15 a.m.
- Roselawn Cemetery - 1:30 p.m.
Each ceremony will include the following:
- Invocation
- Raising of the Colors
- National Anthem
- Placing of the Wreaths
- Guest Speaker
- Benediction
- Rifle Volleys
- Taps
Self-Guided Tree Tour at City Park
The City Forestry Department has identified 223 tree varieties located at City Park, which provides a great hands-on opportunity to learn about the vast array of trees, how they grow, and what they look like.
The self-guided tree tour at City Park is also a wonderful way to enjoy a day outdoors.
