City Council accepting applications for District 6 seat
The City is seeking candidates to fill the District 6 City Council vacancy following Emily Francis' election as mayor. Applications for the vacant seat are due no later than 5 p.m. Dec. 31.
Free Holiday Parking in Downtown Garages
The City of Fort Collins will offer free parking in all city garages on Saturdays from Nov. 29 through Jan. 3, 2026, as well as on Sundays and city holidays.
Siphon Overpass Opening Week of Dec. 8-12
The newly constructed Siphon Overpass will open to pedestrian and bike traffic the week of Dec. 8-12, weather pending, connecting the Mail Creek Trail with the Power Trail over the Union Pacific Railroad and reopening the Power Trail to traffic.

Parking Services Closed Dec. 4-5, Re-Opening at New Location Dec. 8
The City’s Parking Services Department will be closed Thursday, Dec. 4 and Friday, Dec. 5 while the department moves to their new location at 144 N. Mason St., Suite 5, located on the west side of the Civic Center Parking Garage.
