Rent Exhibit & Performance Spaces

The Carnegie Center for Creativity (CCC) is owned and operated by the City of Fort Collins, managed through the Lincoln Center. The CCC is also home to public gallery and performance spaces that are available to rent for exhibition, performance and presentation purposes. The CCC is intended to be used by artists from various disciplines, employing a wide range of artistic expression.

Gallery rentals are available on a weekly basis and reservations are taken up to one year in advance. Visual Artists are responsible for the installation and sale of their own artwork within guidelines provided in the rental contract. The CCC provides a Gallery Coordinator who will meet with the artists to review the installation guidelines, oversee the installation process, light the exhibit, and consult with any questions you may have. Weekly gallery rentals are reserved for Mondays through Sundays. Mondays and Tuesdays are for installations, Wednesdays through Saturdays, 12-6 p.m. are open to the public, and work is picked up on Sunday mornings, between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. All installation and pick-up hours are to be arranged with the Installation Coordinator. Hourly rentals are available for events related to weekly gallery rentals that occur outside of public hours, such as receptions, gallery talks, critiques, etc.

Performance rentals are available on an hourly or weekly basis and reservations are taken up to one year in advance. Performers and presenters are responsible for managing their own performances within guidelines provided in their rental contract. Ticketed performance dates are available Wednesdays through Saturdays, 6-9 p.m., except on the First Friday of each month. Performances at those times must be reserved and approved by the Lincoln Center and must be free, open to the public, and appropriate for all ages. In general, the gallery is open to the public Wednesdays-Saturdays, 12-6pm.

Studio Classroom Rentals are available for teachers wishing to conduct hands-on, lecture or workshop style arts and culture classes at a reduced rate of $65 for 3-hour blocks, Wednesdays-Saturdays, 12-3 p.m. or 3-6 p.m. A 20% discount ($52/block) is available when more than 3 blocks are rented at once (multiple dates allowed).

Idea Lab Rentals are available on an hourly basis for smaller performances, readings, meetings or clean hands-on classes or workshops.

Event Rentals for non-arts and culture events are available on an hourly basis and are taken up to six months in advance. Arts and cultural events are given priority. All events are limited to cocktail style arrangements. No home-made food is allowed. The CCC will provide a Gallery Attendant for all gallery, event and classroom rental periods.

How to Make a Rental Request:

  1. View the Carnegie Center for Creativity Calendar for available dates. (Listed dates are subject to change. Contact the CCC Gallery to confirm availability.)
  2. Fill out the Reservation Request Form

NOTE: Full payment of rental fees, damage deposits and a signed contract are required to reserve the space. Reservations will be confirmed with the applicant upon full completion of all requirements and at the discretion of the Lincoln Center Staff. Rental Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Lincoln Center Staff has the right to make final determination regarding Carnegie Center for Creativity rental reservations. Artists should also read the full Carnegie Center for Creativity Guidelines before making a Rental Application.

Spaces become available for Gallery and Performance Rentals for the following year on the date that corresponds to the first rental date in the current year. Weekly rentals begin on the Monday of the week requested. Contact the Creative Center staff if you have questions. Rentals are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
