Sales Tax Update

Sales and use taxes collected in October are the basis for the November report. Please note that payments received in November are predominately from October sales but also include delinquent collections from prior periods.

• Net Taxable Subject to Sales Tax: $206.9 million, an increase of 3.1 percent compared with November 2012
• Keep Fort Collins Great collections: $1.8 million
• Net Taxable Subject to Use Tax: $40.6 million, a decrease of 45.7 percent compared with November 2012
• Building Permit receipts increased 81.7 percent compared with November 2012
• Sales Tax Licenses: The City received 89 new applications for sales tax licenses and 107 businesses terminated their licenses in November. There were 11,217 active sales tax licenses at the end of November.
