Air Quality Surveys
The Environmental Services Department conducts periodic Air Quality/Climate/Recycling Surveys to identify citizens’ beliefs and attitudes about environmental issues, help staff assess current programs, and gather input that will give direction to planning and outreach efforts. 2017 Monitoring Network Assessment
In 2017, the National Center for Atmopsheric Research (NCAR) prepared an assessment of the representativeness of the current ozone monitoring network for the City of Fort Collin based on analysis of the data set collected during both the FRAPPÉ and the DISCOVER-AQ studies in summer 2014 and the long-term surface monitoring record, in combination with chemical transport modeling.
