Family Programs

Following the Seasons

Designed for families of all shapes and sizes, these two-day sessions bring your family together to explore the beautiful garden setting and connect to nature, each other and oneself. Each seasonally inspired pair of classes starts with a guided walk through The Gardens followed by a workshop-style project that you will finish together and take home on day two.

New lessons and activities each season!

Families in Spring: Spring is a time for renewal in The Gardens. Join us on a guided walk to explore new blooms and babies in The Gardens as well as our own renewal through mindfulness and the restorative power of nature. Then, as a family, you will decorate, plan and plant a beautiful annual flower planter. During the first class we will decorate and during the second class we will plan and plant.

All materials are included in the class. Classes are limited to three to four families and no more than 15 people total.

Big family? Projects will best be enjoyed by family units of five or less. If your family is larger please register in groups of four to five. Each group will get a planter to work on.

Each session is a two-day experience – please choose a pair of classes.
