All visitors - including Members - are required to reserve admissions tickets for a specific date and time prior to arriving at The Gardens. Do not plan to visit The Gardens if you have a cough or fever. All visitors are required to follow City of Fort Collins mask protocols. Please practice social distancing – staying at least six feet away from staff, volunteers and visitors not in your party.

With abundant guidance from City, County and State Health Officials, we will be hosting in-person summer camps.
We are implementing camp protocols and procedures to keep our campers, guests and staff healthy and safe.
Our camps will continue to be primarily outside, if the weather allows, or in inside spaces separate from the public.
A few noticeable changes:
The Gardens is the place to be when school is not in session! Join us on teacher workdays, spring break and all summer for fun, experiential garden adventures! Each camp is specially designed to match the season and are full of garden–centric games, exploration and art, music and cooking. Activities are especially suitable for children having completed kindergarten through completed 4th grade.
Pre-registration is required for all camps. Scholarships are available. A 10% discount is offered with a family membership to The Gardens. Camp is held outdoors in the garden. Children should be dressed for the weather, bring water and wear sunscreen and a hat (if preferred). The Gardens does not provide meals so please pack a lunch and 2 snacks.
Children may be dropped off as early as 8:30 a.m. and picked up as late as 4:30 p.m., but camp programming will be held from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Gardens close at 5 p.m.
We feel strongly that, as a community garden, we are an important resource for all members of the Northern Colorado community. Fueled by that belief, we offer need-based scholarships for youth classes and programs to income-qualifying families, up to $250 a year. Please submit the following application:
Camp Refund policy: The Gardens on Spring Creek requires a two-week notice for a full refund of camp fees. If camp is cancelled by The Gardens on Spring Creek for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
School's Out Day Camps are usually available for children in first through fifth grade on teacher work days and school's out days. Because school is out for the year, we're bringing camp to your home!
Join us for Garden Camp in a Box. We stuff boxes with a full day's worth of garden-themed activities and supplies for your plant-minded child. With the box comes two to three scheduled Zoom lessons throughout the scheduled day. Lessons are offered live but also recorded for learning later. All the supplies are yours to keep.
Time: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. | Cost: $55 per child

Fun, outdoor summer opportunities for investigation of gardening and the natural world – our camps are full of garden–centric activities, gardening, art, science, animals and cooking! Unique programming is guaranteed each week of camp. Children should be dressed for the weather. Please bring water, snack, sunscreen and a lunch. Pre-registration is required. Scholarships are available. Summer camps are especially planned and geared for children ages six to 11 years, or children who are entering first through fifth grades.

Week of Full Day Camp: $250

This camp is especially engineered for our older STEM students. The garden can be your own laboratory! The garden is teeming with secrets to be discovered and puzzles to solve! Come learn to ask deep questions and design solutions to real world problems. Each day we will be harnessing our science, technology, engineering and math skills to tackle new and exciting challenges like designing garden inspired inventions, exploring tiny things through microscopes and learn to harness the power of the sun!
Date: July 13 - 17 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Learn to see the natural world through the perspective of an artist. Gardens provide us with inspiration, materials and a beautiful environment to create in. We will explore the world of art outside, create our own field art kit and practice using a variety of different mediums including watercolors, natural pigments, pencils, pastels, natural items and clay.
Date: July 20 - 24 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Butterflies, beetles and bees oh my! In this camp we will learn all about the world of entomology and hear from real-life entomologists about their career. Each day we will focus on a different species of insects and how important they are to the garden and the world around us. With the addition of our new Butterfly House, this camp is sure to bee a buggy good time.
Date: July 27 - 31 | 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Come join us for a week of gardening and cooking at the Gardens on Spring Creek. We will spend the week learning and making fun recipes, exploring the plants that flavor our foods and making our own book of recipes to take home! This week of Gardeners and Chefs will feature more conventional recipes than our Allergy Aware camp. If you have any recipe concerns, please call the Gardens before signing up (970) 416-2486

We offer a new and exciting Spring Break Camp each year. This year, campers will be garden superheroes saving the gardens from the menacing villain smog, the conniving garden tricksters rabbit and raccoon and many other familiar characters.
