In an on-going effort to represent the City of Fort Collins’ mission to provide exceptional service for an exceptional community, the Fort Collins Municipal Court is offering limited remote Court services at different locations. This program has been piloted at the Sister Mary Murphy Center for Hope since March of 2014. Due to the success of this program, the Court is expending to additional locations throughout the City.
Beginning September 8, 2014 and on the second Monday of every month thereafter, a Court Clerk will be available to answer procedural questions and provide case-related information regarding citations filed through the Municipal Court at the downtown library, 201 Peterson Street, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Additional locations will be added soon.
Court personnel strive to assist in the adjudication process for complaints filed in Municipal Court with integrity, efficiency, and accuracy, treating each individual with courtesy and respect. This program helps address public concerns with the judicial process while balancing innovation, compassion, and resourcefulness with accountability.
