Each and every day, PFA protects life and property by providing prompt, skillful, and caring service for residents and businesses in a 230 square mile area. Poudre Fire Authority has almost 200 firefighters and 13 fire stations to serve the community.

PFA first responders offer everything from emergency medical response to hazardous-materials mitigation, and from swift water rescue to fire prevention education. This historic wildfire season has kept career and volunteer firefighters, as well as responders around the country, at the frontlines of unprecedented Colorado fire behavior.
