Before this Crescent Park area was developed, it was farmland. Artist Carolyn Braaksma created decorative stone seating for this neighborhood park. Symbols that were sandblasted into the sandstone seating were chosen for their symbolic meaning, their connection to the land in its previous life and their black and white quality.
