The Owl and The Pussycat

Description

I often choose classic tales such as the Owl & the Pussy Cat, written by Edward Lear in 1871, as the subject of my murals. The familiarity and whimsical nature of these tales appeal to adults and children alike and for this reason I’ve chosen this story for the Piano’s about Town project. This poem’s message is that that acceptance and affection between very dissimilar characters will result in a peaceful and harmonious life. I expect that the diverse music played on this piano will calm our minds and provide a harmonious interlude from a hectic world.
