Description

The Northern Colorado Multicultural Corporation (NCMC) has gifted a commissioned artwork, “Sarape Aztlan” to the City of Fort Collins’ Northside Aztlan Community Center.  The NCMC commissioned local artist Anne Bossert to create artwork for the building. The design for the colorful 6' × 13' artwork was inspired by Mexican sarape weaving and is made out of dyed plywoods, corrugated steel, pieced and dyed fabric, with various screws and washers as functional design elements. “Sarape Aztlan” reflects the work of NCMC over the years; and they are delighted to provide this gift to the Center and to the community.
