Description

Mind Map is a design that reminds us where we came from and where we go from here. These patterns repeat themselves all over our world, the universe, and within our neurological system. This is how bubbles form, how water freezes, how the earth expands and contracts. Sometimes it is how music looks. Memories from unknown times are formed and there is a sense of longing and familiarity within the art.

Having grown up in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Chelsea has always been inspired by the natural word. With a deep reverence for wild places she seeks peace through creative endeavors. Chelsea received a BFA in Sculpture at Colorado State University, in 2013 with interdisciplinary studies in environmental affairs and organic agriculture. She is a certified herbalist with over four years of intensive studies in connecting with the land. Along with teaching community workshops on herbalism, cooking and fermentation, Chelsea is a teaching artist, serving schools and community centers across the urban range of Colorado with arts integration courses. She is the Community Ambassador and Arts Coordinator at the local non-profit literary arts organization and event space, Wolverine Farm Publick House, where she curates art exhibits, readings, concerts, art shows, and other creative event opportunities.
