Did you know? Fort Collins has an Arts District
Gallery owners in Old Town have united to create the Fort Collins Arts District. By working together, the owners hope to attract visitors to their galleries and give the local area a sense of place with Arts District signage.
One of the key economic values of the Fort Collins City Council and Economic Health Office is supporting businesses that contribute to the cultural health of our community. Local arts and cultural businesses strengthen our economy and provide interesting events, exhibits and vibrancy to the community.
Colorful, informative maps of Downtown art galleries are available in all galleries and visitor centers. The Arts District’s boundaries are between Cherry St. to Mulberry St., and Mathews St. to Meldrum. Fort Collins is chock full of creative people and organizations, check out one of the many fine galleries on a First Friday Gallery Walk, first Fridays of each month, 6-9 P.M., or during operating times.
The Arts District is powered by volunteers and sponsorships. If you are interested in opportunities for collaboration, or if you have a gallery and want to work with the Arts District, contact Rachel Herrera 970.482.2232 or
