FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The City of Fort Collins will be completing multiple projects that will cause closures between June 16 and June 27, including North Timberline Road and East Laurel Street. The work is a part of the City’s Street Maintenance Program (SMP):

• Southbound Timberline Road will be fully closed between Vine Drive and Donella Court (just north of Mulberry Street and Lincoln Avenue) from Monday, June 16 through Friday, June 20 for asphalt overlay work, weather permitting. Northbound Timberline will remain open during the closure. Traffic needing to access any destination along Timberline between Vine and Donella Court should do so via Mulberry or Lincoln during the closure, leveraging the northbound lane of Timberline. Southbound traffic on Timberline will be detoured to Lemay Avenue or the I-25 Frontage Road via Vine, and then onto Mulberry.
• Westbound Laurel Street will be fully closed to traffic between Stover Street and Remington Street from Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, June 20 for asphalt overlay work, weather permitting. Westbound traffic will be detoured to Myrtle Street during the closure. Stover, Smith, Whedbee, and Mathews Streets will be closed at Laurel during the work. Peterson and Remington Streets will remain open to north/south traffic.
• Northbound Timberline Road will be fully closed between Donella Court (just north of Mulberry Street and Lincoln Avenue) and Vine Drive from Monday, June 23 through Friday, June 27 for asphalt overlay work, weather permitting. Southbound Timberline will remain open during the closure. Traffic needing to access any destination along Timberline between Donella Court and Vine should do so via Vine during the closure, leveraging the southbound lane of Timberline. Northbound traffic on Timberline will be detoured to Lemay Avenue or the I-25 Frontage Road via Mulberry, and then onto Vine.
• Eastbound Laurel Street will be fully closed to traffic between Remington Street and Stover Street from Wednesday, June 25 through Friday, June 27 for asphalt overlay work, weather permitting. Eastbound traffic will be detoured to Myrtle Street during the closure. Stover, Smith, Whedbee, and Mathews Streets will be closed at Laurel during the work. Peterson and Remington Streets will remain open to north/south traffic.

All traffic should follow posted detour routes and be aware of changing traffic patterns.

Work Zone Information

Typical working hours will be Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., however work may occur outside these times. While we are working to expedite the project, alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zones.
