The Value and Benefits of Seniors
The Fort Collins Senior Advisory Board is monitoring significant demographic trends that will affect our community over the next 30 years.
In 2011-2012, the Senior Advisory Board hosted an award-winning series of community conversations, Silver Tsunami as a Golden Opportunity. These conversations hoped to raise awareness about the growing aging population and ask how the community could respond to make things better in the future.
The Senior Advisory Board has assembled data collected during the series to describe the growing older population and the value and economic benefits seniors contribute to the community.
