FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The City of Fort Collins will close the intersection of East Drake Road and South Lemay Avenue between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8 and Sunday, Nov. 9, to make repairs to asphalt crosswalks, weather permitting.

Drivers should be aware of the closure and follow the posted detours. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained by the detour routes. Detours include:

• Southbound through traffic on Lemay will detour onto East Prospect Road
• Northbound through traffic on Lemay will detour onto East Horsetooth Road
• Westbound through traffic on Drake will detour onto South Timberline Road
• Eastbound through traffic on Drake will detour onto South College Avenue

Sidewalks will remain open during the closure for pedestrians.

This asphalt maintenance effort is a part of the City of Fort Collins Essential Street Operations.

Work Zone Information

Working hours for this project are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., however work may occur outside these times if needed. Alternate routes are suggested to avoid the construction zone.
