Several concrete and infrastructure repair projects are scheduled in Downtown Fort Collins beginning Monday, May 1, and residents and visitors to the area should expect minor impacts to pedestrian and vehicle travel.
Lightfield Enterprises, the contractor for the project, will be working in the following areas, weather permitting:
- 225 N. College Ave. (May 1-3 and May 9-12) – sidewalk repair; work completed in two phases.
- Northeast corner of Mountain & College Avenue (May 2-11) – concrete pavement and asphalt overlay; westbound lanes of East Mountain Avenue (from Riverside to College avenues) and one northbound lane of College (from Mountain Ave. to Trimble Court Alley) will be closed.
- 310 E Mountain Ave. (May 3-12) – concrete pavement; parking and 1 westbound right lane closed.
- East side of Remington Street south of Mountain (May 4-11) – sandscape sidewalk repairs
- 220 Jefferson St. (May 8-12) – sidewalk repair and clear cure application.
These projects will remedy safety and infrastructure concerns and no utility-related outages are anticipated. Traffic control will be in place and drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians should use caution in the work zones. Businesses in the vicinity have been notified of potential impacts and those that receive deliveries along closed corridors are advised to select alternate routes/timing.
