Charges Filed Against Fort Collins Chiropractor
In January of 2023 Fort Collins Police began an investigation after an adult female reported that she was inappropriately touched over a series of chiropractic visits by Doctor Brian Rohrick. This was reported to have occurred at Peak Performance Chiropractic at 1315 Oakridge Drive in Fort Collins. During the investigation, it was discovered that there was a prior complaint by a different victim to the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) in 2019. Investigators reached out and spoke to the person who made that complaint and interviewed her as a part of their investigation.
Since January, the investigation has continued and there was probable cause for criminal charges for Doctor Brian Rohrick. In October 2023, this case was filed with the Larimer County District Attorney’s Office and a warrant was issued for Doctor Rohrick for the following charges: 2 counts of Unlawful Sexual Contact, a Class 4 Felony. There is one count charged for each incident in 2019 and 2023.
Doctor Rohrick turned himself in to the Larimer County Jail and was issued a personal recognizance bond by the Larimer County Courts at his initial appearance. Investigators believe that there may be additional victims based on the timeframe between the two incidents and the similarity of the offenses alleged. It is common for survivors of sexually based offenses not to report to police or be delayed in their reporting. We are asking anyone with information or who believe they have been victimized to contact Fort Collins Police Detective Brandon Wootan at (970) 416-8027.
All charges are merely an accusation by law enforcement and the suspect must be presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
