Police Investigate Stabbing
On July 22, 2023, at approximately 7:37 pm, Fort Collins 911 received a call from a citizen who was flagged down by a male who said that he was stabbed near the intersection of Redwood Street and Osiander Street. When officers arrived on scene, they did locate an adult male who was suffering from a stab wound. This male was transported to an area hospital for treatment of the stab wound. Officers were informed by the victim that he was stabbed by an adult female who had a small dog with her.
Fort Collins Crimes Against Persons Unit and Forensic Services Unit responded to take over the investigation. Detectives are working on obtaining a description and possible identity of the suspect at this time. They are also investigating what circumstances led up to the stabbing. Detectives are asking for the community’s help in solving this case.
