Update: Winter has been located and is SAFE. Thank you to everyone who spread the word!

Around 11:20 p.m. on October 24, FCPS received a report of found property that included ID, phone, keys, and other personal items belonging to Winter Ryan, 21. The items had been left near a bar downtown. Officers brought them to the woman’s house and learned from family that she had not returned.

Based on information from family and security video from several businesses, Winter got a ride downtown and went to several bars by herself. She was last seen on video leaving Oak Street Plaza around 10 p.m. after sleeping there for about 45 minutes and appeared disoriented.

Winter is a white female, 5’8 tall, 140lbs, long brown hair, wearing a white hoodie under a black jacket, ripped jeans, and light-colored shoes. Police checked with local hospitals and shelters, but Winter is not at any of them and has still not returned home.

Police are concerned for her safety, especially due to freezing temperatures. The Larimer County Search and Rescue Team is responding to help look for her. Anyone with information about her current location or path of travel after 10 p.m. is asked to call Fort Collins Police at 970-221-6540 x7.
