The City of Fort Collins is hosting a free Fair Housing Educational Event on Tuesday, August 31 from 10 a.m. – noon via Zoom. Landlords and tenants are invited to learn about:
- Fair Housing rights and responsibilities
- City resources for housing and neighborhood livability
The event will feature a speaker from the Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD), information from the Neighborhood Services department on City services, and a Q&A session. The purpose is to increase efforts to end housing discrimination by raising awareness of the Fair Housing Act, and educating landlords and tenants about their rights and responsibilities. Those interested in participating should RSVP by Friday, August 27: fcgov.com/HousingRSVP. Spanish interpretation services will be available.
