Police investigate S. College Ave bank robbery

On March 31, 2021 around 3:00 pm, Fort Collins Police received a report of a bank robbery at the First Bank located at 2315 S College Avenue.
A male suspect entered the bank, approached one of the tellers, and demanded cash while indicating that he had a gun. He fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect was described as an adult Hispanic man, approximately 5’2 tall with tattoos on his wrists/hands. A photo is attached. No bank employees or customers were hurt during this incident. Fort Collins Police detectives responded and are investigating the incident in partnership with the FBI.
“Crimes like this can have a lasting impact on the victims who experience them,” said Criminal Investigations Lieutenant Jerrod Kinsman. “If anyone has details that might help detectives identify this suspect and hold him accountable, please contact police.”
Residents in the neighborhood along Columbia Road with doorbell or surveillance footage are encouraged to check if they captured any vehicles or people traveling through the area just prior to or after 3:00 pm.
